Engagement Session at The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Located in the heart of Manhattan, NYC is the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art, aka The MET. Millions of people flock here yearly to visit the museum, but many don’t realize you can also take photos within the museum for no additional cost outside of your admission ticket. This makes The MET an incredible spot for engagement photos in NYC.
Getting The Most Out Of Your Visit
When visiting for an engagement session at The MET, I highly recommend starting outdoors before going inside. The steps will be crowded, especially on the weekends, but if you come early enough the side courtyards are perfect for photos. Additionally, Central Park is just steps away, affording another great spot for photos before going inside the museum.
Inside The Museum
After running around outside the museum, it’s time to head inside and capture the incredible essence of this place. Elle & John decided they wanted to spend a lot of their time strolling through the galleries and looking at statues within the museum.
The Getaway
An engagement session at The MET never disappoints. After exploring the museum, it was time to head home, but not before hailing a cab and grabbing a few shots inside! (Also, remember to never do this without actually paying the cab driver for their time. Hailing them just for photos and then ghosting them is not cool).
