Sailing Into The Sunset
When Alexa & Brendan told me their vision for a sunset sailboat tour of Wilmington for their engagement session, I couldn’t have been more excited to capture this session for them. They booked us a sunset sail with Shamrock Sailing and the vibes couldn’t have been more dreamy.
But before boarding the ship we started on the dock with some quick shots.
The Dreamiest Engagement Session
After grabbing some shots on the dock it was time to set sail! Alexa went ahead and did her first outfit change of the shoot, which was another stunning white dress. Brendan switched into a more elevated button up. Both decided to ditch their shoes for this portion of the shoot, which I highly recommend! It adds such a vibe to the session.

Then, Alexa & Brendan went ahead and changed into their next outfits, which were a bit more casual. The sun was also going down, so this was a great move because it allowed them to be a bit warmer during this portion of the session. This was also the perfect time to break out some bubbly and do a toast, which created amazing pictures! Then, our captain let Alexa & Brendan steer the boat for a moment, which made for the cutest moment and some of my favorite pictures from this session.
