North Carolina Wedding Venues
North Carolina positions itself as an ideal place to get married in the U.S.. With mild winters and gorgeous spring and fall seasons, mild hurricane/tornado seasons compared to the rest of the Southeast, N.C. is a fantastic place to get married most of the year.
If you are looking for a North Carolina wedding venue, here are 7 of my favorite venues in the state as a wedding photographer who has shot at nearly 100 different ones so far.
Carolina Grove
Location: Hillsborough, NC
2025 Pricing: $6.5k-$10.8k
Website: www.carolinagrovenc.com
Looking for a more relaxed venue that leans into the southern charm of the Southeast? Look no further than Carolina Grove! Giving you an elevated “barn” feel, with all the modern amenities you and your guests need. This venue boasts gorgeous indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options and is perfect for a spring or autumn wedding.

The Bradford
Location: New Hill, NC
2025 Pricing: $10k-$20k
Website: www.thebradfordnc.com
For couples hoping to go for a more Italian European vibe for their wedding day, The Bradford is an obvious choice. Their outdoor space alone has multiple options for ceremony and reception spots. Not to mention tenting options! And their minimalist ballroom is an absolute show stopper.

Hill House
Location: Durham, NC
2025 Pricing: Inquire for pricing
Website: www.hillhousedurham.org
Having a more intimate affair? Hill House is a Spanish inspired historical home that feels cozy and warm everywhere. But their massive front lawn lends for more options if you want to opt for a bigger guest count. Hill House is a newer venue, offering a unique opportunity to break the mold and create something never before seen in NC.

Morning Glory Farm
Location: Unionville, NC
2025 Pricing: Inquire for pricing
Website: www.morninggloryfarmnc.com
For those wanting a refined but nature-inspired feel, Morning Glory Farm is an incredible option. Sprawling woods, lawns, and a beautiful pond pepper the property. In 2024 they added a greenhouse, one of only a few in NC at the moment. The juxtaposition of the chandeliers with the forest outside creates a gorgeous ambience that is hard to find anywhere else in the Southeast.

The Cannon Room
Location: Raleigh, NC
2025 Pricing: Inquire for pricing
Website: www.cannonroomraleigh.com
Located on the 12th floor of the Capital Club in downtown Raleigh, The Cannon Room offers 360 views of downtown. They have massive windows, affording them 360 views of Raleigh and tons of natural light. The Cannon Room is perfect for more intimate weddings and those wanting a city feel.

Duke Mansion
Location: Charlotte, NC
2025 Pricing: Inquire for pricing
Website: www.dukemansion.org
The Duke Mansion is a massive historical home that also has on-site accomodations. It doubles as a hotel, and coupled with its proximity to Charlotte, it makes a fantastic option for couples with out of town guests. Inside you will find black and white tile, gorgeous chandeliers, and massive staircases. Outside you will find peaceful gardens and a fantastic patio for an outdoor reception.

The Distillery
Location: Garner, NC
2025 Pricing: Inquire for pricing
Website: www.thedistillerync.chadbiggs.com
For couples wanting a more industrialized feel to their wedding day, The Distillery is the only right choice. Everything here is white, making it a dream for photography. But not only that, The Distillery has some of the best staff I have ever worked with on a wedding day. They will take great care of you and your guests.
